It is with pride in our heritage that we introduce you to Aunt Jane's Place.
The Crockers had three children, Harvey, Lloyd, and Gordon. Uncle Gordon was the last occupant of this house. Before his death, just a few years ago, Uncle Gordon had the opportunity to see the old homestead restored. He was very proud. The architectural integrity that has been preserved in this house gives one a real sense of the meaning of heritage and culture. |

Aunt Jane's Place features a small sitting area upstairs with a window overlooking beautiful Bonne Bay. In the downstairs living room, our guests can relax and enjoy the company of other guests and the opportunity to meet us. There is a colour T.V. and fully equipped kitchen with all the modern day conveniences.
Aunt Jane's also features The Sample Room, a small shop that was and will continue to be a part of the house. Years ago the agents would come in from large schooners to set up a display of their goods to sell to merchants up along the coast. The Sample Room would display these goods while the local merchants made their purchases. In later years it was used as a small warehouse for wholesale goods. Today is acts as a Gift Shop and Antique Display. A heritage home brings with it many challenges...it is the comfort of your stay and the satisfaction of serving you in our unique historical atmosphere that makes this a worthwhile venture.
